After creating and assigning a collaborator with cashier privileges, the next step is to create a cash register<\/strong> (also referred to as a cash box<\/strong>) that will be used for counter sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Navigate to the Cash Register Section<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To create a cash register:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to the Structure<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Cash<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Create a New Cash Register<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Click on “New”<\/strong> to begin creating a cash register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Label<\/strong>: For example, name it Cash 1<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Warehouse<\/strong>: Choose the corresponding warehouse. In this example, it\u2019s the Main Warehouse<\/strong> (main depot).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Default Customer<\/strong>: Select the Counter Sales Customer<\/strong> you previously created. This customer must be enabled for counter sales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ledger Code<\/strong> (optional): You can select a placeholder code like Case Local<\/code>. This field is not mandatory and can be skipped.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Once all required information is filled in, click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3: Assign a Cashier to the Cash Register<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      After saving, you will be redirected to the previous windows where you see the list of cash register created. select the newly created cash register and click Open<\/strong> to access additional configuration tabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to the Cashier<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click Affect<\/strong> to assign a cashier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. From the list of available collaborators with cashier rights, select the appropriate one\u2014for example, Amanda<\/code>, the cashier we created earlier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click Open<\/strong> to assign the cashier.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Now, the selected cashier is linked to the cash register and can perform sales operations through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Click OK<\/strong> to confirm and complete the setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
